Megan Duncan

Megan joined Benson Financial Group as an administrative assistant and writer in January 2025.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications with a focus on journalism from Quincy University in 2013.

Previously a family and Christian humor columnist at the Hannibal Courier-Post, Megan is passionate about sharing her faith through her writing. She is a contributing author to Her View From Home’s So God Made a Mother, a Wall Street Journal best-seller, as well as the forthcoming So God Made a Grandma. In addition, she has self-published two books.

A Hannibal native, Megan now resides in rural New London with her husband, Shawn, and their two sons, Connor and Logan. When not writing or working, Megan enjoys the tranquility of country life, caring for her three dogs, nine goats, and a mini-cow.
